I remember this show well, because I was there as a friend of the band, as well as being an employee of Bill Graham Presents, which I still am 29 years after the fact.
Sam, Joe, & Alan were a great group of guys, and I still keep in touch with Sam & Joe via their My Space pages, www.myspace.com/sammannram & www.myspace.com/joeandrewhite respectively.
I haven't been in contact with Alan since USA left for LA.
They were one of the most exciting bands that I've ever had the pleasure to work with, having introduce them to the Hayward Battle of the Bands in January 1980, and presented them in a free conert at Memorial Park in May of 1980, along with my own band Sabre (w/ Mark Weaver on drms, Dione Gomez on guitar, & Glen Horton on Bass).
